The website underthesink.org and the associated household hazardous waste facility are operated under an inter-local agreement with the following organizations: Douglas County, Sarpy County, Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District, City of Omaha and Keep Omaha Beautiful Inc.. Henceforth referred to as Program Partners. The website underthesink.org and the associated household hazardous waste facility and activities are henceforth referred to as the Program. This website (www.underthesink.org) is an official publication of the Program and Program Partners. Henceforth in this statement referred to as UnderTheSink.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the leading Program Partner the City of Omaha maintains all aspects and day to day activities of the Program.
The internet is an emerging, free flowing, electronic community that is, for the most part, unregulated. The Program Partners are only responsible for information posted by designated employees within UnderTheSink (www.underthesink.org). The Program Partners are not responsible for any information linked to or posted, outside UnderTheSink. Likewise the Program Partners are not responsible for information posted to UnderTheSink by rogue individuals.
