What is the ReStore?

The ReStore service provides residents of Douglas and Sarpy Counties with a unique opportunity to reuse and reduce waste.

When households drop off hazardous or unwanted products at the facility, items that are still usable such as cleaners, paints, automotive fluids, or other household supplies are set aside and made available for free to other residents.

This program not only diverts materials from disposal but also promotes sustainability by encouraging safe reuse of products that might otherwise go to waste. By combining responsible hazardous waste management with community resource sharing, ReStore helps protect the environment while offering practical benefits to local households.
